I have a Win ME computer as well as a Win 98 computer. I can execute this fine from my Wi 98 , but not from ME. I am trying to establish a connection to a VPN. I connect to th einternet just fine (on the 98 I go through local DSL connection; with the ME, I go through a dial up connection into AOL). With 98, I can make a connection into the VPN and become authenticated within the domain. I have acces to the domain resources. However, with ME, I get connected through the VPN, however, I appear to not be authenticated into the domain. I can browse the network, however, it is asking me for an administrative password for this connection (IPC$). The two computers are setup identically (as identical as possible given the different OS's). I have client for Microsoft Networks installed, the same DNS/WINS servers for my VPN properties, I am using Windows logon as my primary logon. Now I have been, somewhat successful if I choose Client for Microsoft Networks as my logon process, however, it is prompting me for my domain and user ID constantly (IE, when I make my connection to AOL; there has to be another way). I am stating the domain, userid, and pasword in the VPN dial up connection properties; the is MS VPN client by the way). Please help me out.

Thanks
