After upgrading to a new computer and the ME system, my scannner software conflicts with Me. HP has made suggestions that do not work. Have downloaded the patch but it changes nothing. Get PPSCAN errors plus 32kernel.dll and STIMON errors. Very frustrating...any help will be appreciated.

If it is an older scanner, don't even bother. Many older scanners are no longer compatible. I had to replace a UMax that was a few years old.
