ME and Go Back

I recently tried installing Go Back that came with Norton System Works, however when I tried to activate Go Back it would reboot to the blue screen of death and message stating system halted. I would reboot and it would go to safemode and I had to disable Go Back in order to boot system to its normal state. Any ideas why I couldn't get it to work? I disabled firewall (zonealarm) and my anti virus program. I even shut down all programs running except system tray, without success.

I guess my question would be why would you want to use that when ME has it's own built in restore program and I have found that it works pretty well .

hello my copy of norton 2002 corpatre edtion would not even offer automaticaly the option of go back.but it did in 98se . i think it has to do with system restore. if system restore were disabled completely you could most likely install goback. from safe mode.but i dont think you should renable system restore with goback. goback is better than system restore in many ways. your choice.it was ment for 98-95.

The normal installation of GoBack requires that System Restore be disabled. I used the trial version once and didn't like it.
