Hello all!
I am looking at buying a new pc, the company Iam looking at (www.alienware.com) will not let me configure a ME box ith more that 384MN RDRAM memory. Is there such a limitation? the mother boad they are using (Intel 850 based) supports up to 2GB of RDRAM

I believe it is motherboard specific except if you have 512 meg or more, you must configure your vcache manually or with a tool called cacheman. If you don't, you are going to get out of memory errors without doing anything.

All depends on the address bus, which happens to be 32 bit. by calalation the OS should able to support up to 4GM Ram but all depands on your MB and number of Slot present on the broad.
