SINCE IT WAS NECESSARY TO REFORMAT MY HARD DRIVE, I REFORMATTED IT SO I COULD START CLEAN. OUT OF 14 GIG I ONLY HAD ABOUT 2 GIG LEFT. AFTER REFORMATTING AND RECOVERING TO BRING COMPUTER UP TO DATE, AND NOT EVEN RELOADING A LOT OF PROGRAMS MY SYSTEM RESOURCES ARE VERY LOW AND AFTER AWHILE VERY LOW. I HAVE 12 GIG FREE. THIS SEEMS TO EFFECT THE MOUSE ALSO. IT STARTS FINE AFTER A REBOOT, BUT AFTER AWHILE THE MOUSE FREEZES OR IS VERY ERATIC. CAN YOU HELP WITH THIS PROBLEM? THANKS ORLANDO

For your mouse the screen refresh rate is probably set really low. Refere to your monitor booklet for info how to change it and how high you can set it (Too high could mess your monitor up!!)
To answer the other question supply me with more info on you computer (Name, year, mb of RAM, etc.)

What programs have you loaded so far?

It sounds like one of them is hogging up all your resources. If your resources are low, your mouse will behave erratically.

How about a list of what you have installed?
