lots of errors

ive been having a lot of errors blue screen crap for a while now and i was wondering what i could do to fix it. will installing windows 98 over windows ME copy all my files and programs from ME to 98?

first off, let me help you avert a disaster... you can not install 98 over ME... ME is 'supposedly" better and newer than 98 and the software won't let you do it.
try reinstalling me. When you run setup, run like: setup.exe /d the /d is a switch that runs setup to replace all damaged windows files. It should run automated with little user intervention.
also, what are you doing when you get the B.S.of D? graphics/memory intensive progs? or just general usage?
