Having seen lots of people here who have to reinstall Windows but don't have the product registration key for whatever reason, here's a good answer...
The Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder is a freeware utility that retrieves your Product Key (cd key) used to install windows from your registry. It has the options to copy the key to clipboard, save it to a text file, or print it for safekeeping. It works on Windows 95, 98, ME, NT4, 2000, XP, Server 2003, Office 97, and Office XP.

Hope this helps someone out...

Thanks for the link Mark. At the link below you can find manual instructions to find it in the registry. At the bottom of the page you can find a script that i got from mesich.com that will do it to.

Here's another if your forgetful and your brain has leached out.
It's for those passwords that are behind the *a*s*t*e*r*i*s*k*s* in some fields, like on a rubba dub dialy up.

Thanks Mark for the link. I had seen it in the Win9x forum a while back and did not save it. Thanks again as I have added it to my favorites this time. :)
I must also give credit where credit is due. The script that is on my page was created by Doug Knox.
Site's looking very nice SMUOD. I like the changes.
Best Regards,
Mesich
