Lost WINASPI32.DLL File

OS: WIN ME
CPU/Ram: 1.2 ghz processor 256 ram

Every time I try and play my windows media it gives me this error, "Need WINDOWS original WINASPI31.DLL", when I click ok it says," NeroApix(that is the heading name)Could not open driver. Trying system aspi.
My real one player doesn't work or my media clips play on grokster anymore. I need help. Can someone please break it down for me in the lowest level because I'm not to computer savy. Thanks

First. Uninstall Nero. Then, REinstall Nero.

Then, extract a new copy WNASPI31.DLL from your cabs using the extract tool in msconfig.

WNASPI31.DLL is in Win_16.cab File and goes in.

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM

So if you read the two articles below very carefully and follow them even more carefully. You will be good to go.

Oh,

and you'll have a ton of crap on your system, so download and run fully updated versions of Spybot S&D and Ad-aware6.

And don't use Grockster either, that's crap and full of crap. Use Kazaa lite and Win MX if you want P2P apps.

Do an online virus scan as well.
