Please help me,I deleted some files in Windows ME by mistake.Now after bootup I only find a blank desktop,no start button,no task bar,no icons.When I press CTRL+ALT+DEL,the box comes up blank.nothing loaded.Please help me to correct this by telling me that which file should I copy back into Windows so It starts working Again.I will appreciate your help.I have Windows Nt installed in the same PC and they bootup fine.I can see C drive and all its files from NT which I have installed in D drive after

Stupid question perhaps, Did you empty your recycle bin, if not, you can copy them back to where tey belong from in winNT. Else, install windows over the the one that isn't working anymore. but DON'T format the partition. Just installin OVER the old one. Normally you should be able to run all your programs that you had before, no data will be lost. There's one thing, I've noticed that when you install windows over an old-one, you will probably get a less stable windows. Good luck JOhan
