I have a PC with an AMD266 processor and with 256Mb of RAM on a QDI Titanium Ib motherboard running Windows Me. Following several blue screen crashes, I found that my passwords had disappeared from my Dial-up networking connections. On the advice of a knowledgable friend, I right-clicked on "My Network Places" on the desktop, then clicked "properties" then pressed the "Add" button then added the "Client" to "Microsoft Networks". The machine then loaded the client and I was asked to reboot after which the passwords appeared in the right places as if by magic. I had a further blue screen crash some hours later which resulted in loss of the passwords again. I tried the same remedy but alas client would not add to Microsoft Windows Network. Any ideas anyone?

if you like to find a siimple solution, go to http://www.rbcing.net/fosi/set.html great site...all working full software titles and download "win boost 2001"! it will help you twick and recover many internal windows settiings... the same thing happened to me-and adding microsoft client...etc...didn't resolve it... if you have any questions..contact me at lol@metconnect.com
