I downloaded the game called 123 solitare and put it in program files/games. After trying this new game I decided I did not want it and went to settings/add/remove to uninstall this programs. I uninstalled and noticed that my program file/games had disappeared. I had many games such as internet hearts, etc in this file, by the way, which was part of the unit when I purchased it. I checked my recycle bin, nothing. I tried my system restore, but unfortunatel the restore point was not before the deletion. I have tried to recover these games from my restore CD-ROM but no such luck so far. Help or suggestions will be appreciated on how I can reinstall these deleted files. Thank you in advance...R.M.

Download Hijack This 1.99.1 here ,install it and "Do A System Scan Only". Click on "SCAN" at the bottom. Once it's finished click on "Save Log" and save it as a .txt file. DO NOT fix anything! This is a pretty powerful tool. Be sure that the program is in its own folder on the root drive. If it's saved in a temp folder it won't be able to make back-ups if needed. Also be sure that while it's running that no other windows are open. Then copy and paste the log back here and I'll take a look at it for you. Let's see if we can rule out a virus.
