Comment:

I recently performed a parallel reinstall. I've been getting some error messages, and I could fix them easily by extracting a few DLL files, but I lost all of my CAB files after the reinstallation.

Is there any other way to get the DLLs?

All of the CAB files are in C:\WINDOWS\OPTIONS\INSTALL directory by default, or from the Windows ME CD.

You'll need to extract these files to use them.

Hope this helps...

I don't have a c:\windows\options\ anymore, after the parallel reinstallation. Apparently, that part of Windows wasn't reinstalled...

I got what I need from those links, though (I think). Thanks!
