My friend must of had internet connection problems. He has told me a connection box came up. He was on orange dial up before he had broadband and I think it was a dial up connection box that appeared when his broadband went down, anyway he pressed connect. Now when he fires up internet explorer it takes him to the orange homepage instead of Virgin.

How can he revert back to the broadband connection now he has pressed the connect on the dialup window that keeps on appearing.

Thank you

Steve

Go to Control Panel > Internet Options > Connections tab, make sure "Never dial a connection" is selected, then click Apply.

And, he should unplug the phone line from the dial-up modem.
