lost a bar at top of screen

at the top of the sreen underneath file,edit,view,tools etc there used to be a bar with a box to go 'back' a page. This has somehow disappeared and the 'address' and 'go' boxes have moved up in their place. How can I retrieve the missing box and why would you think it would disappear? thanks

Right click on the grey space after the Help button and put a check next to "Standard Buttons".
