You can use windvd or powerdvd with your dvd rom. windows should install a generic driver for the dvdrom. If you can insert an audio cd into the dvd drive and it plays the driver has been installed. all you need now is dvd software. windvd or powerdvd I cant believe you were sold a dvd player without dvd software.
