How do I turn off the windows logon?

Right-click on the "My Network Places" icon,
select Properties from the context menu to open the Network dialogue box.

From the combo box, where it says "Primary Network Logon" select Client for Microsoft Networks instead od Windows Logon.

Click Ok. Probably you would be prompted to reboot. Reboot.
