Log On Screen?

I seem to have forgotten how to get out of having to log on to ME. I had to reinstall ME and now I have this log on prompt. I thought it was as simple as not putting anything in the user name password and hitting okay but that doesn't work. I can get on if I just hit cancel but there has to be a better way. Any help out there?

Open System.ini file with notepad or sysedit. Go to section with [Password Lists] heading, and delete all entrys in list. Save changes. Open Network properties in control panel, and change Primary Network Logon to "Client for Microsoft Networks". Reboot when prompted, and when Login screen appears, enter a user name, but NO password. Click ok, and you will not get login screen again. Al
