lockup or crash

After the system has set for awhile the mouse began to stick and I can not access any of my programs. The only way I can get the system to run smooth is to reboot. That is every time I need to work on the computer. I have Windows Me install. The processor that I am using is a Cyrix 233 6x86. I need help!!!!!
