Well, I have just been there and I'm still puzzled. It doesn't seem to make sense since I don't have MSN explorer on this computer and never had so I don't have a MSN folder in Program files either...
So any idea where it comes from then? And is it ok to deny acces to internet to it with my firewall?

Click - Start, Run and enter: MSCONFIG. You'll find it listed under the Startup Tab. De-select it, and reboot.

I always thought that Msn Messenger was part of the Win Me installation - referring to your Response #4.
Loadqm never appeared in my system until I upgraded Msn Messenger - and it's silly because I hardly use it!

The Loadqm part of MSN-IM (MSN Messenger), my firewall detected LOADQM tried to send it out, I denied it.. I knew the M$ want snooping the informations. you can disable the LOADQM in your msconfig or download free STARTSTOP program (for win95/98).

Ellis : Done, it was simple..duh...lol Thanks!
Aramis : Sorry, yes I had at one time upgraded to the last version of MSN messenger but I removed it from my pc a little while after cause I found it more annoying than usefull. Thanks.
DBPowerWCRulez: yes, that is what I thought too and that is why I denied acces to it but I was just wondering if it was ok to do so, thanks.

I have been having trouble getting Scandisk to complete even with Virus scan disabled and Quicklaunch stopped. By disabling Loadqm alone the problem is solved. Bill Gates does it again!
