I need to load a special device file in dos, but config.sys file will not save the command? Hos do i get the device to load?

As a rule.. don't

You can seriously compromise the stability of the system running dos apps in win 32, especially Millennium.


If its a device driver, get a win 32 version

However you could try:
In MSCONFIG (start Run)

Add it to the Environment tab
