LOAD ERROR! upon reformating and rebooti

I have a HP XL946, WIN ME. I installed my Lexmark x73 printer & when I was finished I needed to reboot, I did and then came up with a blk screen saying "LOAD ERROR! PRESS ANY KEY TO REBOOT. I did and nothing so I crashed the system, figuring that would fix the problem it did before. I put in my recovery discs 1&2 from HP they ran just fine told me when to switch from disc 1 to 2 fine, when disc 2 finised it said to take disc 2 out and press ok to reboot your computer, so I did and guess what Blk screen saying "LOAD ERROR! PRESS ANY KEY TO REBOOT. I have crashed and rebooted several times did it manually & bypassed the first disc and same thing. It runs the disc just fine, I can get to my Bios, that seems normal, my fans are running fine. I have no beep when I turn on my computer though and I have checked all the bios beeps, but they have nothing in there for no beep. I think I am in real trouble here. PLEASE ANYBODY THAT CAN HELP I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT. Thanks fulhouse

Blue screens are always bad news, if at the worst case you are unable to access your drive and if there is any important data on there, take care not to do anything erational and try thse people at www.computer-recovery.com they should at least recover your data.

It's not showing a blue screen. It's a black screen. Just says "LOAD ERROR! PRESS ANY KEY TO REBOOT" When I press any key. It still states the same thing
