Linksys print servers installation in ME

I am unable to install the Linksys print servers that I use in Windows ME. Although they ae working fine with two other computers on the network using Windows 98, when I try to install the printers in ME and search for the print servers I get the message that "not found any prin server on LAN, probably print server IP not assigned, use TCP/IP setupt to assign IP. Each printer has an assigned IP address that is working in 98. Linksys is not willing or able to be of assistance. Since I have four of these print servers it would be expensive to replace them.
