Well I bought this laptop off of ebay , the guy said the sound dont work and the pcmcia slots aint reading nor does the onboard mouse work he said , I was wondering if it could be driver problems? he said the display wasnt working once but once he downloaded a few drivers it works now , So I'm wondering if these could be driver problems and if installing XP would help things out for driver wise?

Eagle 16Nam,

One way to find out, I guess. You know what the laptop is. So, go to the manufacturers website, and get ALL of the required drivers for it.

Any problems in Device Manager? Bet that's a yes.

Eagle 16Nam,

Hmm, ;-) well, it could be drivers, BIOS settings, hardware problems... Don't want to rain on your parade though ;-(

Did you get the OS CD and COA {Certificate of Authenticity}? That should of been; 'are you getting'. Kind of hard to tell you what to look at/check. If it isn't in front of you. Just imagine, what it's like for us ;-)~

Either way, good luck. When you get it, come back and we'll have a go with/at it.

Best Of Luck,
CrazyOne
