Comment:

I had kodak easyshare software installed and
working (retrieved pics from camera, etc).
Now, the software does not come up - dclick
on icon and just shows as "not responding"
in task bar. Also, when I connect camera, says "retrieving contents" and then no response. Where do I look in ME for system errors/log? Avail mem appears to be low, but
app like MS-WORD do come up.

I have the same software (garbage) I uninstalled all of it, then just installed the drivers "camera connection software" then when you plug in the camera and turn it on just double click "my computer" on your desktop and it should be displayed. double click camera than internal memory, pics are there. I use another program to edit.

Snap

My old Digital 320 ALWAYS had errors refering to 'not connected' or something like that. I found that software from my brothers better model of kodak camera made it work great. I later downloaded software upgrade. Its a software problem.

I also have a kodak and easy share software. I did the same thing sonofsnap did. I uninstalled the software, chose the expert install and only installed the drivers. Now.. I just plug the camera in, turn it on and use windows explorer to navigate to the pictures folder.

The 3rd party junkware that comes with mp3 players and cameras and even scanners is never any good.
