have ibm netvista, when i try to adjust volume with keyboard controls, it doesn't work but puts the calculator on my screen. been doing this for 6+months. never used to doit. any help would be appreciated.

Make sure the associated program is running in the system tray. (The feature needs an app to run in the background; maybe it is not starting up with windows)
