I have a problem with my keyboard and mouse they will not do any thing. When my computers starts i get the three lock lights then they are gone and nothing happens. I tryed putting the 'num lock' but they just flash and the mouse and keyboard dont work, but my computer starts perfect to the desktop screen. I stated having this problem after i took out my hhd and installed it back again.

take a look at your motherboard & look at the upright metal can, they are capacitors, check to see if any are domed instead of flat top or leaking brown liquid or that you might have knocked 1 over(tilting) when removing/reinstalling the hd
