for some reason the sound control on my keyboard isn't working any more i able everything that i disable in the startup but it still doesn't work, any one know how to fix this?
Summary: Have you disabled any startup items in msconfig? If so enable them one by one until you figure out which one controls keyboard sound (hidserv?) and then go back and uncheck the ones that did not help ...
Summary: Actually... I was thinking the sound controller software on his specialized keyboard may be messing with his sound card drivers. ?? *shrug* It's an idea anyway... but without more information there...
Summary: Windows Me HP pavilion 9800 HP mutlimedia keyboard pentium 4 after i edited some of my startup file (msconfig) the volume control button doesn't work anymore. everything else's on the keyboard still...
