Keyboard Locks Up Using Internet

Each time I use the internet the keyboard randomly locks up but only for inputting information into explorer - I can still type in word for example. It tends to happen most with Hotmail and Yahoo Mail. I´ve checked for Spyware and Viruses and my system is clear. Also there are no conflicts with my hardware. Any ideas welcomed!
