Hello all,
Today while examining the kernel32.dll file in windows folder i saw the decription and file version as "Microsoft Windows ME kernel core component".I was examining the various resources....and i discovered that the only thing it was used for was the task manager or ctrl-alt-delete for shutting down progs...nothing relating to powering up windows there were some other RCD data but very small length..Just wondering...

Kernel32.dll is the dynamic link library that parses program components and components of the operating system into memory. It's job is to decide where everything goes in memory as per the instructions by the programmer. It's a core system file in Windows 9x/ME.
