i have win/ME and occationally i have trouble with this dll and i wanted to know if there was anyway to fix it without killing my computer

Error messages in kernel32.dll generally point to a program on your computer trying to access a protected portion of memory... or bad memory.
You will have to tell us a whole lot more about your problem before we could even guess what is going on.
For instance...
Kernel32.dll problems when browsing the internet usually indicate that a program that has hooked itself onto the browser is broken. Generally this is a spyware problem... big contibutors to this are:
Go!zilla
Gator
SaveNow
New.net
Webhancer
etc...etc...etc...To rid yourself of this crappy software, download/install/run AdAware
If the kernel32.dll error messages happen randomly in every application... make sure you are virus/trojan free... then start looking at replacing the memory to test. It's cheap and easy to replace.
So... when do you get these errors?
