kazaa not connecting

hi...... i m unable to connect to kazza for some reason.it was working fine till recently i formatted my drive and did a fresh installation..
i have got winme+winxp dual booting and sadly kazaa is unable to connect from both the os.. i tried another program shareaza which is working fine.i was using zone alarm pro and norton anti-virus and i tried uninstalling them ...but still it wont connect

mac, SWAG, suspect that during the re-format/installation you got rid of a needed file or permission. Think I'd start over and install again. Next time, consider using restore in order to avoid inadvertant change. HTH. Ed in Texas.

Kazaa is full of spyware. If you delete the spyware, Kazaa stops working. I would use KazaaLite 2.43 It's free, does not contain spyware and works OK. www.oldversion.com The later versions I have seen are not free or have bugs added back into it.
