I have Kazaa Lite 2.4.1, 2.4.2, 2.4.3, and Resurrection and none of them will run, I get run time errors when they startup When 2.42 is started this is what happens. It starts up and than I get Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Message: Runtime Error! Program: c:\program files\kazaa lite ++\kazaalite.kpp Abnormal program termination I click ok and then I get Kazaalite has caused an error in Kernel32.dll Kazaalite will now close If you continue to experience problems try restarting your computer I've tried everything I can think of. I've had this problem before when reformating the hard drive and installing all my programs. If I install kazaa first, it will work, untill I install my other software. I use to be able to install all my other software and than Kazaa last and than would work, but now it does not. I've looked at the help file were it says all the dll files that should be present to prevent runtime errors and the files are all there....HELP I just downloaded Kazza Lite 2.6.1, I run the program and everything runs fine and connects, but once I click on the search tab I get Run Time error same as above but in the clean.kmd file. and than also I get the second message, same as above. My computer just does not want to run Kazaa.......HELP Adam

i heard about someone else having the trouble.... they found that it was a new security download from microsoft that they'd recently downloaded. if you've downloaded it as well it maybe the cause. the microsoft "critical update download" was named,"KB891711" i downloaded it and it caused problems so just found it and deleted it. hope that helps

Consider yourself fortunate, P2P software will trash your system sooner or later.

I haven't downloaded any microsoft updates....
