Yes, read the specification. If you don't want to get a risk, please use the reliable one that most people use. I rely on Symantec Norton Pack 2005 to maintain my system, virus, spyware, adware, firewall, password management, and data files. All in one, simple and easy ;)

Yes it will. I would suggest that you use the trial version to see how you like it. One thing about Kaspersky, it uses "tag" to monitor the system files. I cannot remember their exact term to monitor the files, so be sure to select that you do not want have that feature installed when prompted during the installation. It causes no problems either way, but it will keep your system pure and clean, should you change your mind and want to uninstall it. It is one of the best antivirus programs available, especially at detecting trojans. It is updated every three hours by default if necessary with new virus definitions.
