Hi newgrl you helped me with my problem where all the inf files had to be deleted. I posted this for John last night he also had all those inf files we got ride of them. The settings on John`s pc are, java console enabled, java logging enabled not JIT. this is the way help at games said to set. I just checked mine & I have the opposite. mine is working on games maybe I go change his. Please let us know what you think.

i'm not sure exactly what is wrong. i don't know what settings your ISP messed with. i did however find this in the MS knowledgebase:

http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q168/8/06.ASP

which is a troubleshooter for problems with JAVA... which i believe is the problem.

it may be of some help, but it is kind of long and will have you do a lot of checking in the registry.

if you have any questions about this Q article, write back.

good luck!

Would not scan went into help changed security settings the way suggested.could not scan.Went back in to help sugjested upgrade virtual machine for java, and vb scripting support We installed these .Would not scan.
