just reformatted ME and need help

I had just recently reformatted Windows ME. and I had to select a modem, but it cannot find any compatible modems. I then selected from a list of modems, but they all do not seem to work. I used the ME disk and it said that if I go into c: me_drv then I could get the modem driver, but I don't know how to set that up, help.

http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html download belarc advisor and install it on the machine, it will fit on a floppy, it will give the details in your browser, then you can go to the manufacturers site and download the appropriate driver.
