Well its about time....My first Virus im so excited....does anyone know any info about this one "Js.Exception.Exploit" i already know its a pretty common one but ive never really herd of it...I know its only 668KB, Double Zipped file, its a tricky son of a b*tch to get rid of what with all the encryption it has but nothings impossible....

First of all i have run a complete SYSTEM scan using NAV 2002 Professional, then i found the root of where the virus was "C:/WINDOWS/TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES/CONTEXT/LOGO(1).GIF" i then i cleared the Temp folders including History, Cache, Offline web pages, i then cleared them from the Recycle bin. i then did a full scandisk, "No errors found" i then updated my NAV rescue disks, then i backed up my Program Files / Windows files onto a ZIP drive. I then created a new restore point.

After all this i then went to Housecall and did a free Virus scan, No virus found was the result i then created a copy of the virus onto a CD. putting is in a double locked ZIP folder.

Im pretty sure im in the safe zone, but u never no, anything else i can do??????

Has anyone herd of "JS.EXCEPTION.EXPLOIT" VIRUS?????

Neo

I've had this virus several times from web sites that I will not go back to. It's a common one. Norton caught it, quarantined it, I deleted it, deleted my cookies and TIF files, did a complete system scan, never had a problem.

Good Luck

Robbie
