Yes you have. Without videocard, you wouldn't be able to attach your monitor to your computer. The CMI8738... are components of your soundcard. Are you having trouble with your sound and video? Johan.

Go back and check under"display adapters"in the device manager and tell me whats listed there.That should be your video card.Joha is right w/o a video card of some type you wouldnt have a working monitor however you want to know if its a onboard video card(built on the motherboard)or a add on one.We will know once we have the info from the device mgr staying tuned.. jimi_l
