Hi all,
In internet explorer, at the bottom left corner in the status bar, when i open a webpage the items remaining don't all download and it just "freezes" (although doesn't crash). Only half the webpage is then displayed and a lot of images and background images are not displayed.

Any ideas??

Any help would be grately appreciated!

Thank you.

1) You may have a HOSTS file blocking specific web sites (ADs) that make up part of the page. Check C:\Windows\HOSTS and if it exists rename to HOSTS.bak and see if it solves the problem. (Then put your HOSTS file back and live with it unless you want to try to sort out which AD sites are causing problems.)

2) Your Temporary Internet Files folder is full or corrupted. In Internet Options, under Tempory Internet files, click the button for "Delete files..". And see if that helps.

If the TIF files are corrupted bad enough so that they do not delete, you might need to do a general clean up by running System Tools - Disk CleanUp utility. And then getting and running DELINDEX.BAT to really clean out temp files and cookies.

3) You could have a problem with your Internet connection and errors during DNS lookups. Check the quality of your connection.
