Comment:
I have AOL as my ISP. In the nights i normally log on to aol and leave it on to download music using a software/program called audiogalaxy. When I leave it on in the nights it will be dowloading the songs, however when I wake up in the morning the download has stopped. I check aol to see if I am still on the net, however I am not on the net. I was kicked off. It gives error, "Connection lost. System/Connnection was reset by a remote host". Is this error familiar to anyone? HOw can I fix this problem so that I don't get kicked off in the nights? Is this aol's doing? Your help will be appreciated.
The first thing to do is call AOHELL.I don't know if it'll work w/AudioGalaxy or not,but you might look into a "Download Manager" which will let you resume truncated downloads.
Nowaday,a lot of ISP trend to auto disconnect around 5-8 hrs no matter your connection is active or not. I 've changed a few ISP & they are all the same. One thing that's good is I never get a busy signal......LOL......
Thanks for the links TK. I've been looking round for a good download manager since I got rid of the stupid gozilla one. As I only get 2 hours online before cut off I need one!
