To word here is "IF" ! Try the drive and see if it works ? When I purchased a PNY 256M.B. thumb drive USB , it said Plug and Play for WinMe and WinXP ,CD supplied for Win98 ! However when I tried to use it my WinMe PC said certain files where missing. If you have a OEM pre-install version of WinMe ,sometimes they do not install all of the needed drivers for USB plug and play abilities. I was able to find the three files I needed by doing a HD search for them and finding them in .cab files in the system /options/install section ,even the location of the .cab files can vary ,so browse your H.D. first to fint the .cab files ! Once I found the files I extracted them and the PC completed installation thru the new hardware wizard !
Good Luck Nick
