Internet programmes not functioning

When I try to use Internet explorer, MSN messenger, Yahoo messenger and Outlook express I get errors that prevent me from using all these programmes. I can dial up to the internet and get a connection, but when I launch any of the above mentioned programmes I get many error windows. For example.... Internet Explorer, as soon as I open it up a "windows explorer error" appears. followed by "error in CMD32" followed by "error with kernel32" Outlook Express usually has an "Jscript error" window. Yahoo messenger come up with "error in ypager.exe" MSN messenger comes up with an error window (the contents of which I can't remember) I had to re-install Windows ME today (without reformatting the hard-drive) as I couldn't get dial-up networking to even let me attempt to dial into the internet. (this was done with the advice of a technical support helpline) What I am trying to say is that all internet programs are in-operable, I can't surf the internet, send or recieve e-mails or send instant messages although I can gain an internet connection. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

have you allwas had 786mb Ram ?with out haveing set vache up to not utilize the excess amont of ram this could be part of your problem. if you can try running with 512 megs of ram and see if that helps. if it makes no diferance sounds like you go at virus.
