Comment: Why does I.E 6 suck so bad. I have DSL connection and can browse with Opera browser at great speeds. However, I sometimes have to use IE to use sites Opera has trouble with. Most of the time, Opera renders most pages faster than IE and using the back button on IE is like watching paint dry. I have installed a registry tweak that I got from www.speedguide.net and it helps out IE to some extent. What else can I do to speed up Internet EXplorer.

Reply: (edit)>>or any prog. that clean your sys from adware<< Not all anti-spyware/malware programs are created equal, many install their own spyware. Spybot Search and Destroy is the best, be sure to update before running the check for problems. CWShredder should be run before Spybot to ensure proper cleaning of CoolWebSearch variants.

Reply: (edit)I use Spybot. Ad-aware-pestpatrol the cleaner Norton. Computer is obsolete..but fast enough for web surfing...I'm just convinced IE bites.
