When I run internet explorer and surf the internet I ran into a problem. Whenever I click on a link that opens up a new window it pops up but does not load the website. It has nothing in the address box and just sits there loading but nothing happens. Please help!

registration of Urlmon.dll is corrupted.

Re-register Urlmon.dll

Close all programs.
Click Start/Run, type regsvr32 urlmon.dll, then click OK.

The following message appears:
DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded.
Click OK.

Patrick,
Have you tried the IE Repair tool? Go to add/remove programs and choose Internet Explorer to remove. Then choose the repair option. See what happens. OR...It could be a problem with the oleaut32.dll file or the dispex.dll file in the windows/system directory. Best option, reboot in "save mode". Once in safe mode go to start>run and type MSCONIG. When MSCONFIG comes up there will be a button at the bottom that says Extract File. Browse to the windows/system/oleaut32.dll file, double click and then click start. Then choose the windows/options/cabs directory to extract the file from. Click 'OK' then click "start" again. Do these same steps for the dispex.dll file too. Then reboot in regular mode and test your IE. Wouldn't hurt to run IE repair again either. Good luck
