Me again. When I try to connect to the internet via my wireless broadband connection, alot of the time, it tends to fail opening internet explorer and just continually loads without it actually connecting. I press ALT+CTRL+DEL and it shows that a few systems are not responding. Generally the only way to get out of it is to restart manually as Ending Task does'nt work. It basically stops responding altogether.

Also when I actually manage to connect successfully the hard drive is constantly making a noise in 3 second intervals- it does'nt usually do that and is freaking me out. Hope someone can help.

Jason Bourne, perhaps not even remotely the cause. Worth looking into. ME, out of the box, had some memory issues. Seems it didn't release memory after it finished using it. If you haven't done it, recommend you read/install the suggestions in 'Trev's Tweaks ...' found @:
