There is a new product on the market called pre-paid Internet on a CD.Check with your local telephone boutique to see if they have it.($9.95 for 300 minutes without time limit to use it).Good luck.

I've used that on the road. Makes picking a motel/hotel much easier. I look up the local access numbers I need before I leave home.

Just about any USA national ISP has local numbers across the USA, but it looks like Lesley2 is not in the USA, are you?

The word 'hostel' is not usually used by 'muricans :))

Please clarify, Lesley2.

we have hostels in sonny san diego. the foreign students go the the local library & hog the computers all day. This isn't a secret or I wouldn't say it here. I go to libraries when I am out of town to check my email. Be careful of spyware programs that steal passwords!
