I just installed ME last night and I did a bunch of updates, including downloading all the language support. After doing the last update (language support, plus any other updates it let me d/l at once) I now have this annoying blue box w/ "En" in it. In the Task Manager, it is Internat. Its not something in the startup. I found it in the Windows\System directory. Of course when I delete it it comes back. Does anyone know how to get rid of it, its annoying me for some reason??? When I click on it, it gives me the choice between a bunch of different languages. It seems to come up whenever I open a web browser and surf. Thanks for any help.

I believe that little blue box lets you select the correct language for the web site you are looking at, if its printed in something other than english. You should be able to deleate these language packs through the add and delete feature in control panel. Just an afterthouth did you read the "read this first" statement before you downloaded the language service packs? Hope this helps

of course I did NOT read it!! haha. Yea I may just have to uninstall them, probably do that in fact if I can't find a way to not display in the taskbar. It is for switching languages though, good call.

It is not something to change languages in websites or something, it's just to select the way you use your keyboard. Because in Belgium here, we use a azerty-keyb. (first keys from upper left to right...) that's all. The way you can prevend it from starting up is "Start" -> "Execute" (if I translate, cause I use a Dutch version of Windows98SE) then type: msconfig Go to "startup" (the last tab-page) en search internat in the list. Uncheck the box next to it, and... tadaaaaa it's gone!
