I have a Windows ME system that is not working properly at the moment. I am wondering if I should install a Windows Xp home edition version 2002 service pack 1. Its a cd that my sister has from her computer. I want to know if it would be ok and how can I go about installing it. Thanks :)

2hayngirlz,

"Its a cd that my sister has from her computer."

First: You can't use the same product key/id, on two (2) different computers.

Second: Is that the OS disk, or the service pack disk? Doesn't matter, as it can only be installed on one(1) computer. The OS, using that key/id.

Sorry,
CrazyOne
