Hi folks,
Can someone tell me how I can access symbols (wingdings?) such as: §
What I want to do is have this and others installed on my keyboard (or at least be able to 'click' the symbol on a popup list), copy and paste is not an option.
I have the usual £(alt 156) and ò(alt 149) etc., but cannot find § anywhere, thanks.

Thanks andys2003 but all I get from trying alt167 with Times New Roman and variety of Arial fonts is a bunch of small circles e.g.:ººººººººº . Btw, I'm using the USA English setting rather than UK English to enable my # symbol but it shouldn't make any difference, should it?

Thanks XpUser, I'll run through that MS info after dinner and let you know.

Go to control panel ---> add/remove program ---> windows component ---> accessories ---> checklist "character map".

After it is installed, you can copy+paste or manually press the shortcut/hot button to put your special character on your typing. Good luck ;)

Thank you for all your kindness

Regards,
