installing USB diver digital camera

Sony digital still camer DSC-P71 Cyber-shot I am haveing Problems connecting camera to computer.
Did your installation CD not work? Have you tried downloading the ME operating system drivers for your camera from the SONY support website?

First make sure your camera has USB capability?
Download the latest Drivers for ME from SONY's support pages and try this:
Open your Device Manager by right clicking
My Computer > Properties
Then see whether you have any problem devices? It usually has a yellow icon with an excllamation mark
Click on it and Press Reinstall Driver
Show the wizard the way to the newly downloaded drivers and it will update the driver database.. then your OS will detect your new camera and will install the drivers for your camera...
