Hello I had to reinstall windows over top of windows and now that the regestry have been modified alot of programs that require a serial number will not work and most will not install correctly after complete uninstall for instance. Easy cd creator 5, I tried to uninstall and reinstall it, but it would not let me, So i went into the regestry and deleted everything that said Adaptec and Creator. Now when I try install it, it now says system administrator has set policies to prevent installtion.. Does anyone know how to correct all of this?????

The easiest way would be to format your hard drive and start again with a fresh installation of Windows and then your programs. If you're going to do this read the whole of the homepage on this link first.

If the data is important to you, it would be a wise move to back it up anyway. What would you do if your hard drive died?
